Senior Risk Actuary - Reinsurance.

The Cavehill Consulting Group is partnering with a global reinsurer, to find an exceptional Senior Risk Actuary to join their established Dublin office.

This is a permanent, full-time role reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO).

The Role & Key Responsibilities 

. You will be at the forefront of the Risk function, overseeing all aspects of capital and risk management, covering both Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life & Health (L&H) Reinsurance.

. Internal Economic Capital Model: Lead the annual validation, coordinate regular reporting to the Risk Committee/Board, and oversee the quarterly internal model results.

. Capital Management: Drive the production of annual and ad-hoc ORSA reports, review capital management options, and coordinate other critical deliverables like the Standard Formula results and regulatory reporting (QRTs, Solvency & Financial Condition report).

. Risk Management: Oversee the ongoing implementation of the Risk Management Framework, assist with risk registers, prepare ALM analysis, and evaluate Emerging Risks.

. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage and coordinate a small, high-performing team.

What You'll Bring

Education & Experience:

. Qualified Actuary with min 2+ years, ideally 6 to 8 years PQE

. Relevant degree in Mathematics or Actuarial Science.

. Prior experience in Risk Management or Capital Management is desirable.

. Experience with reinsurance business (P&C and L&H) is an advantage.
