Role Overview
We are seeking high-caliber Intermediate and Senior Business Analysts to join a large-scale digital transformation program within the taxation domain. This project is centered on the end-to-end redesign of VAT business processes, from initial registration and customer service through to compliance, risk management, and debt collection.
You will be responsible for navigating complex "As-Is" environments and architecting "To-Be" solutions that bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Engineering: Document and analyze "As-Is" VAT processes and identify critical inefficiencies and opportunities for "To-Be" improvements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate workshops with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across various Revenue divisions to extract deep-domain requirements.
- Requirements Management: Utilize MoSCoW techniques to prioritize business needs and ensure alignment with technical architecture.
- Leadership (Senior Roles): Guide and mentor junior/intermediate resources, providing quality assurance on deliverables.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively manage project risks, ensuring timelines and quality standards are maintained.
Required Skills & Experience
- Domain Expertise: A strong fundamental grasp of taxation (Registration, Returns, Filing, and Payment workflows).
- Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
- Analytical Rigor: Proven ability to simplify and structure complex information for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Communication: Exceptional written and oral communication, with the empathy required to manage diverse stakeholder groups.
- Preferred: Experience with Revenue-specific architecture and data sources (e.g., RDM, RM procedures).
- Bonus: Change management experience in large-scale public sector or financial transformational projects.
Work Location & Flexibility
This role is based in Dublin. While onsite presence is required for specific workshops and high-level stakeholder collaboration, we offer genuine flexibility regarding the weekly remote/onsite split.
