Life Actuary – Senior Consultant to Senior Manager

Cavehill Consulting is proud to be representing a global consulting leader in the search for talented and driven qualified actuaries to join their Life Insurance practice, delivering high-impact actuarial change, regulatory, and transaction support for major insurers across the UK and Europe.

This is a fantastic opportunity for ambitious actuarial professionals to step into a role offering real progression, diverse project exposure, and the ability to make a strategic impact in areas such as Solvency II, IFRS 17, risk modelling, and M&A.

 Role Highlights:

• Lead or support delivery of actuarial and risk transformation projects across the life insurance market

• Advise clients on regulatory change, financial reporting, capital optimisation, and transaction readiness

• Develop and manage relationships with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams

• Mentor junior team members and contribute to thought leadership and market insights

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Life Actuary (IFoA or equivalent)

• Strong technical background in Solvency II (e.g., internal models, MA, SFCR, QRTs)

• Experience or working knowledge of IFRS 17 (desirable but not essential)

• Previous consulting or project-based delivery experience an advantage

• Excellent communication skills and commercial awareness
