This is a pivotal role for an actuary who excels at managing complex technical workstreams—including valuation, capital optimization, and financial reporting—while acting as a trusted strategic advisor to primary insurers in the UK and Irish markets.
Key Responsibilities:

Engagement Leadership: Lead delivery on IFRS 17, Solvency II, and Solvency UK reporting cycles for primary life portfolios.

Strategic Advisory: Manage ORSA processes and Asset-Liability Management (ALM) initiatives to enhance capital efficiency.

Model Governance: Oversee the development and optimization of actuarial models (Prophet, Mo.net) to ensure rigorous regulatory compliance.

Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison for Chief Actuaries and Boards, translating technical results into commercial board-level strategy.
Requirements:

Professional Qualification: Qualified FIA or SAI with significant post-qualification experience (PQE) in a direct insurance setting.
