The Role

We are seeking a Life Actuarial Manager to join a growing actuarial team specialising in life insurance. This role offers diverse hands-on actuarial experience, involvement in audit engagements, and opportunities to develop your technical and leadership skills alongside experienced mentors.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver actuarial work on financial audits and SFCRs

• Design and implement audit solutions to improve efficiency

• Collaborate with global technical experts and internal teams

• Support actuarial consulting projects including peer reviews, IFRS17, risk management, capital management, and M&A

• Lead business development initiatives and contribute to thought leadership

Ideal Candidate

• Qualified actuary with 8-10 years' experience, including 2+ years PQE

• Experience in life insurance audit, consultancy, financial reporting, or IFRS17 implementation

• Strong technical expertise, including stochastic modelling; experience with Variable Annuity products is a plus

• Knowledge of the Irish and European life insurance markets and regulations

• Self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
