Immediate Contract Start: Risk Manager (2nd LOD) - Daily Rate - Global Lloyds Organisation

Are you a seasoned Risk Management professional with deep experience in the Lloyd's/London Market?

Cavehill Consulting is urgently seeking a highly skilled Risk Manager to join the Assurance & Risk Management function of a prestigious global Lloyds organisation on a daily rate contract basis.

This is a critical Second Line of Defence role, starting ASAP, with a focus on ensuring the robustness and effectiveness of the firm's Risk Framework.

The Impact & Responsibilities:

You will be the driving force behind key risk initiatives, including:
Risk Framework Leadership: Maintain, develop, and drive risk awareness and training across the business.

Registers & Controls: Manage and update the risk universe, controls, and perform key Risk Assessments.

Reporting: Develop and report on Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and prepare materials for committees/stakeholders.

Regulatory & Strategic Support: Contribute to ORSA, Internal Model Reviews, and strategic initiatives (e.g., stress testing, ESG/climate risk).

Incident Analysis: Identify, escalate, and analyse risk events to ensure effective lessons learned.

What We're Looking For (Essential Criteria):

Experience: Proven track record in Risk Management within the Lloyd’s/London Market environment.

Knowledge: Familiarity with prudential requirements (Lloyd’s, PRA, Solvency II/UK).

Tech Skills: Experience with enterprise risk platforms (e.g., Decision Focus) is highly advantageous.

Mindset: Collaborative, proactive, results-driven, and acts with integrity and diligence.

Education: Relevant Degree, Master’s, or professional qualification in Risk Management or Insurance.

Availability: Must be able to start ASAP.

Location: Hybrid – 4 days per week in the London office
