Key responsibilities will include:
· Conduct or review the calculation of GAAP technical provisions, co-ordinating with data providers, validating data, providing judgement for selection of provisions and reporting to the Reserving Committee and Finance
· Coordinate, conduct or review the subsequent calculation of the Solvency II Technical Provisions and assist the Finance team with regulatory submissions
· Support the HoAF’s provision of an annual Actuarial Opinion on Technical Provisions and related Actuarial Report on Technical Provisions
· Support the HoAF’s contribution to risk management, including provision of annual opinions on the ORSA process, underwriting policy and reinsurance arrangements
· Provide training and leadership to direct reports to complete tasks and aid their development
·Plan project workflows and assign team tasks
