Cavehill Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a global consultancy that is experiencing significant growth in its Financial Services Data & Analytics practice in Ireland. This opportunity is ideal for a high-calibre Senior Manager with a strong background in data transformation, technology consulting, and leadership of data-focused projects across banking, insurance, and wealth management.

Key Responsibilities – Client Delivery

• Lead the design, mobilisation, and delivery of complex data and analytics projects for financial services clients.

• Act as a subject matter expert across domains such as data management, engineering, governance, advanced analytics, and AI.

• Build and manage trusted client relationships at senior levels, acting as a strategic advisor.

• Oversee consulting teams and delivery outcomes, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard.

• Facilitate workshops, solution design sessions, and stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

• Identify opportunities to broaden client engagement across the consultancy’s broader technology and transformation services.

Key Responsibilities – Practice & People Leadership

• Take an active leadership role in scaling the Data & Analytics team in Ireland.

• Contribute to brand building through client engagements, market presence, and thought leadership.

• Support business development efforts, including pitching for new work and preparing proposals.

• Provide mentoring, coaching, and development support to junior team members.

• Champion a collaborative and inclusive team culture, contributing to internal initiatives and practice building.

• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in methodologies, solutions, and ways of working.

Required Experience & Skills

• Proven experience leading data and analytics engagements in the financial services sector, ideally within a consulting environment.

• Demonstrable success in project and programme management with Agile and traditional delivery approaches.

• Expertise in one or more core data domains: data strategy, ETL, business intelligence, data visualisation, AI, or data governance.

• Strong commercial acumen and experience managing client relationships at C-suite or senior executive level.

• A track record of managing, developing, and mentoring high-performing teams.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to translate complex technical content for non-technical stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or related).

Desirable

• Experience delivering data-related initiatives in areas such as regulatory reporting, fraud, customer analytics, or HR analytics.

• Certifications such as PMP, Prince2, SAFe, or Scrum are advantageous.

• Experience in a hybrid translator role, bridging business and technical teams effectively.

• Exposure to cloud, modern data platforms, and emerging tech trends is highly beneficial.
