What You’ll Do

  • Drive Impactful Projects: Be at the heart of transformational initiatives such as IFRS 17 implementation, helping shape the company’s compliance and reporting framework with hands-on involvement.

  • Master Actuarial Assumptions: Own the development and refinement of key actuarial assumptions through detailed experience studies that power accurate financial modeling.

  • Innovate & Evolve: Contribute to exciting innovation projects that refine actuarial products and processes, positioning the business at the forefront of industry developments.

  • Lead Valuation Workstreams: Support valuation exercises and financial reporting activities that deliver transparency and strategic insight to stakeholders.

  • Analyze & Influence: Provide in-depth analysis of the company’s existing product suite to guide future strategy and profitability.

  • Navigate Regulatory Complexity: Work closely with regulators, including the Bermuda Monetary Authority, preparing capital filings and ensuring compliance with evolving standards.

  • Support Core Reporting: Assist with audit, ORSA, and regulatory capital filings, developing a comprehensive understanding of vital financial reporting frameworks.

Who We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years of relevant actuarial or insurance experience, ideally with composite insurance exposure

  • Pre-ASA to ASA / ACIA qualification level or actively working toward it

  • Strong academic background in actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, finance, or related fields

  • Exceptional analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with GGY AXIS or similar actuarial software is a big plus

  • Self-starter mentality with excellent time management and the ability to deliver high-quality work independently

  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams

  • Passion for continuous learning and a drive to innovate within a fast-paced and evolving industry
